The Grand Hôtel is a larger ski resort oriented hotel in the French Alps. Offering direct access to the ski slopes, The hotel is located in the heart of Serre-Chevalier, in the village of Chantemerle-Saint-Chaffrey. In summer, you can indulge in the joys of hiking and mountain biking. The main ski lifts are 100 meters away.

Some accommodations, like pours, have a balcony overlooking the mountains. The on-site restaurant serves delicious breakfast and meals. You can also relax with a drink by the fireplace in the bar. The sunny terrace, open all year round, provides the ideal setting for enjoying a meal.

There is also ski equipment rental available on site and a ski storage room with a boot dryer. Briançon is just a 10-minute drive away.

Although very focussed on the winter season, on you way to another destination, it is a very nice hotel to stay for one or two nights. We paid €165 for the night, including breakfast in July and it was absolute worth it. Nice views, a cozy little village in the mountains. We were a bit unlucky with the weather but still, we did enjoy our stay.
